Bramshill (Part 1)

An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated June 2nd 1923 featuring a main article on Bramshill in Hampshire (Part 1), the Seat of Captain Denzil Cope, 10 page write up with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. Also featuring a 4 page illustrated article on a house called Bellevue in Lympne and its alterations by Mr Philip Tilden. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was at that time. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Signora Eleonora Duse.
