Sutton Place (Part 2), The Residence of Lord Northcliffe

An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated February 14th 1914 featuring a main article on Sutton Place in Surrey (Part 2), a nine page write up with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers and renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was at that time. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Countess Nada Torby.
