Muntham Court, the Seat of Lady Ulrica Thynne

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated February 2nd 1907 featuring a main article on Muntham Court in Sussex, the home of Lady Ulrica Thynne, containing a ten page write up with black and white illustrations of the house and gardens including the yew walk and extensive topiary gardens that once stood. Muntham Court was demolished in 1961.  Country Life magazine commenced publication in 1897 and the early issues have become a valuable reference of some of England's finest lost country houses. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of the Countess of Sefton and her Sons.
